Semarang, 10 Desember 2024 – Ambalan Barito Manggala kembali menggelar kegiatan tahunannya, yaitu kegiatan hiking. Kali ini, para pramuka dari berbagai kelas 10 diajak berpetualang ke destinasi yang tak kalah menarik, Candi Gedong Songo, Kabupaten Semarang. Dengan tema “BERGEMA” (Bergembira Bersama Barma), kegiatan yang berlangsung dari pukul 07.00 hingga 15.00 WIB ini berhasil membangkitkan semangat petualangan para peserta. Salah satu daya tarik utama hiking ini adalah penggunaan transportasi yang unik, yaitu truk militer. Pengalaman naik truk bersama teman-teman menjadi momen yang tak terlupakan bagi para siswa. Selain memberikan sensasi petualangan yang berbeda, penggunaan truk militer juga menjadi simbol semangat pantang menyerah dan kekompakan yang dijunjung tinggi dalam gerakan pramuka. Tujuan utama kegiatan hiking ini adalah untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai kepramukaan, terutama Dasa Darma ke-2 yang menekankan pentingnya mencintai alam dan sesama manusia. Dengan menjelajahi keindahan alam Candi Gedong Songo, diharapkan para peserta dapat lebih menghargai alam sekitar dan membangun semangat gotong royong. Selama kegiatan hiking, para peserta tidak hanya melakukan pendakian, tetapi juga mengikuti berbagai kegiatan menarik lainnya, seperti kegiatan wide game. Wide game sendiri terdiri dari peta panorama, sandi pramuka, pecah balon, dan pindah cup. Kegiatan hiking tahunan Ambalan Barito Manggala diharapkan dapat terus menjadi wadah bagi para siswa untuk mengembangkan diri, baik secara fisik maupun mental. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga diharapkan dapat mempererat tali persaudaraan antar sesama anggota ambalan serta pembina pramuka.
